I still haven't figured out what I do with my free time.
The kid got up just a few minutes after me. If she hadn't, I might have read or watched something inappropriate for children. Since she had, we finished The Wizard of Oz, which we had started last night. We could engage with that together, since I had seen it before a very long time ago, and it has subtext, and I wanted to make sure she wouldn't be scared by the scary parts. (She wasn't but it's hard to predict.) But now she's on to The Powerpuff Girls, and that's doing less for me. I appreciate the occasional Aliens reference, I guess, but still.
Am I going to have to become the kind of person who's productive and spends his free time on responsible things?
