One of those words...

Yesterday the weather was bad. Couldn't have gone running first thing if I had wanted to; it was raining. It rained off and on through the morning and early afternoon too. The kids got a fair amount of screen time. But eventually it cleared up enough for my dad's oldest sister to rehearse this presentation she has been working on about our family history, of interest to this community in Canada.

In the afternoon most of the family went golfing at some informal event my dad suggested. Meanwhile T. and I took the kid and her cousin to the local pool. It started raining again just as we left so we had to wait a few minutes to actually get into the pool, but when we finally did, they had fun. After the public pool was closed, her cousin had a swimming lesson. Then we did a little shopping on the way back to my parent's house. We still got home well before the golfers did; rain had delayed them too. 

Dinner started after 8. The kids were wild by the time bedtime came.
