Biked the kid to school yesterday. I wish I had worn a coat. It's cold.

Typical workday yesterday. A couple easy meetings, got a few things done but not as much as I should, etc. 

In the afternoon, we got the kid early for an appointment to get her shots. It went surprisingly well. Then we went our separate ways: T. and the kid to the library while I went to the eye doctor's, to get my new glasses, and then got a haircut. (These two events seem to have a theme of fashion or appearance renewal, hence the title, but neither haircut nor glasses are too big a departure from how I used to look.) We met at the grocery store.

Dinner was tilapia and green beans.

The evening was frustrating. For several years now, T. has got a calendar for our parents as a Christmas present, focused mainly on the kid. Since last year, Costco discontinued their program, so she - we - were trying to figure out a new system for this. New stuff is always hard and this seems objectively more complex than the previous. The grandparents appreciate it but it always seems like one of the more unnecessary sources of stress around the holiday season, and just got worse.
