Blueberry pancakes and bacon for breakfast yesterday. At noon, the kid had a shift selling popcorn for the Scouts. I took her to it while T. cleaned and did the laundry. Keeping her on track selling stuff was difficult but in the end we managed. Afterwards she and I ran a quick errand. When we got home, some friends of hers came over for a playdate and pumpkin carving. It was also nice to catch up with their mother. My parents came over too. Dinner was air fryer chicken, quinoa, and a salad. (For the family, not school friends.)

We went to bed lateish, around 11:30. Just as T. and I were settling in the kid started screaming with an earache. She was up in agony until after 2. We went to the emergency room but left again when we heard there was an average 10-hour wait time.
