Yesterday I drove the ladies to school and work as appropriate. Traffic was once again bad. I can only assume there's new construction right off our route or something. (Or just a run of bad luck.)
Work was OK. One meeting, productive, and dealing with a few weird ad hoc requests. Still putting off some stuff that I'm really, really going to have to get to soon but I'm not actually at the deadline yet.
T got home at 5 and we left almost immediately to go to the kid's swimming lesson. She had loved them last year, but missed most of the summer due to travel, and stopped in the fall due to schedule disruptions. Conveniently, she got a ride from the mother of her friends taking lessons at the same time, so we didn't have to leave nearly as early as normal. It went well.
Dinner was chicken (put in the slow cooker before we left because swimming would go late, of course), salad from a bag for T. and I, and carrots for the kid.
