Posting in the morning because I've found it a good habit in general, but there's not much to say here since yesterday's entry was posted 12 hours later than usual.
In addition to food, we also bought a lot of stuff over the weekend. Delaware has little or no sales tax, and there is an outlet mall near the beach and not much else to do in that area in February. I got sandals, which I needed; my old ones were falling apart. T. got pants, a dress, shoes, and sandals; fair enough, we were at outlet malls, and our clothes shopping has been reduced in general over the past two years. The kid got sandals, water shoes (Croc-like but not Crocs, basically), and seven books. She likes to read in some sense but she can finish an Xavier Riddle book in 20 minutes and doesn't have the patience for most longer books. Except comic books, but those aren't really a challenge either for different reasons. We got a kite. We also spent over a hundred dollars at the liquor outlet, partly to get stuff that's hard to get closer to home, they have a great selection of beers, but mostly just because we were there.
I complain about our problems with clutter and unnecessary stuff around the house (and that list is mostly bad examples, since liquor gets consumed, most of the books are educational, and most of the rest are necessities), but I think in general I'd rather reduce our intake than try to organize or cull the stuff we already have.
