Slept in yesterday morning and had brunch with the family. T. and I packed and then went for a walk, this time up an unfamiliar road, to take full advantage of the fall foliage, while the kid played with her cousins and their neighbors for the last time in a while.
My parents started driving us to the airport a little after 1. A late lunch/early dinner at a diner near it around 3. We were through security a little after 4:30. Our flight was originally scheduled for 5:50 and was about half an hour late. We got home around 9 PM.
