Yesterday we got ready to go on a trip, a few drive to the Point Reyes area. Around 10 AM, I went to put some bags in the truck and found the lost dog. Chekhov's gun fired!
We left a little before 11, later than planned. Lunch was at a Mexican restaurant on the way. Good but slow. Understaffed was our guess. We got to the Point Reyes visitors center around 3. Then to the beach and saw the sun set on the Pacific. Cool. Then about 45 minutes drive to our hotel. Not far, but windy rural roads. It was kind of stressful. Dinner was very simple: wine, cheese, bread and general finger foods in the hotel room.
