Cleaning the kid's room

Didn't go jogging yesterday. Maybe alternating is good for me. 

After a leisurely morning of coffee and our various games, we went to the farmer's market, planning to do a little shopping and have the butcher's breakfast sandwiches for breakfast. They were good, but by the time we finished the shopping, got home, put everything away, and then ate, I was too hungry for that to be enough, so I snacked through the day.

The big event of the day was cleaning the kid's room. She'll grudgingly clean when we order it but for her that mostly just means getting things out of sight, as opposed to organized, and is reluctant to get rid of anything. So we're making some recommendations. (Not doing it unilaterally except when it's genuinely junk! Just, you know, "You haven't played with this toy in years, why not give it away to another kid?")

It was dusty work, and tiring simply due to holding awkward positions. We also did some laundry, and while walking around in the evening to deliver things we had found that belonged to neighbors, cut some weeds growing nearby. To summarize, dirty day.

Dinner was pork chops and butternut squash. After dinner we watched Polite Society. Good movie but weird. Seemed to change genres halfway through.
